Invitation to a FREE Ferry Ride

This question came in today from Ireland:
"You mention a ferry crossing to your pick up point how long does this take and how convenient is your base to the ferries to Vancouver Island.?"

Here is my answer:
"The taxi frive from the Airport to the ferry terminal is about 45-60 minutes, depending on the traffic. The ferry trip is 40 minutes, we are very close to the ferry here on the Sunshine Coast."

Transfers to and from our property are included in our prices. We will arrange for a taxi to meet you at the Vancouver airport or a Vancouver hotel, and bring you to the ferry terminal in Horseshoe Bay (just past West Vancouver). After a ferry ride, we will meet you and bring you to your motorhome. After you have returned the vehicle to us, we will arrange for a taxi to take you back to Vancouver.

The sun is out again!

Hello Everybody,

today the sun is out again. What a special treatment after weeks of rain, and rain, and rain, and storms, and snow!! That's the Sunshine Coast for you!
British Columbia's West Coast or shall we say: Wet Coast?!

However, just got new photos in from one of our guests who visited us last year from Germany.



They wrote:

wir wuenschen Euch fuer 2007 viel Glueck und Gesundheit, auch Erfolg fuer's Geschaeft. Von unserer grossen Reise, die unsere absolute Traumreise war,sind wir nun schon mehr als ein halbes Jahr zurueck, uns inzwischen haben wir alle Bilder und Filme gesichtet und sortiert. Wir hoffen, dass wir uns in den naechsten Jahren wiedersehen, denn der Amerika-Virus ist nicht tot zu kriegen. Wir gruessen Euch recht herzlich und hoffen es geht Euch gut.
